Information We Collect

When you book a Discovery Session, complete an intake form, or become a client, we collect information such as your name, contact details, health history, and information you share during sessions. This is necessary to provide nutrition counselling services and to build your personalized Wellness Blueprint.

If you subscribe to The Daily Blueprint or another lead magnet, we collect your name and email address to deliver that content and related communications.

If you contact us directly by email or phone, we retain that correspondence as part of normal business records.

Use

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide nutrition counselling services and communicate with you about your care
• Deliver requested resources (lead magnets, newsletters)
• Schedule and manage appointments
• Meet our professional, legal, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your health information with third parties except where described below or where required by law.

Storage

Where Your Information Is Stored

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our practice:

Practice Better (client management platform): Practice Better is a Canadian company that stores data in Canadian and US data centers, with your information primarily housed in Canada and a US location used only for backup and redundancy. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and Practice Better maintains compliance with PIPEDA, PHIPA, HIPAA, and GDPR. Practice Better is also used to manage appointment scheduling.

TidyCal (booking): used to schedule your Blueprint Discovery Session. TidyCal collects your name, email address, and the appointment details you provide when booking.

Google Workspace / Gmail: used for business email.

Metabolic Balance (Germany): if you are enrolled in the Metabolic Balance Programme, your bloodwork data is shared with Metabolic Balance GmbH in Germany to generate your personalized nutrition plan. This involves a cross-border transfer of your information outside Canada. We only share what is necessary for this purpose, and Metabolic Balance is contractually bound to protect your information under applicable data protection law.

Google Search Console: used to understand site performance. This tool operates server-side only and does not track individual visitors or place cookies on your device.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other visitor-tracking tool on this website. We believe your privacy matters even before you become a client, and we’ve built this site without the tracking technology many businesses use by default.

Retention

Data Retention

We retain client health information for as long as required by our professional regulatory obligations, and in accordance with Practice Better’s data retention policies. Email subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
