GENERAL QUESTIONS

What even is nutrition counselling — and how is it different from seeing a dietitian or health coach?

This work is less about rules and more about understanding.

Instead of focusing only on what to eat, we look at the patterns behind your health — digestion, energy, stress, sleep, and the habits that formed over time.

It’s a collaborative process. We’re not trying to force your body into a plan. We’re trying to understand what it’s already been telling you.

Is this just about food?

Food is part of the conversation, but it’s not the whole story.

Often what looks like a food issue is connected to stress, routine, sleep, or long-standing patterns that haven’t been looked at closely before.

We follow the clues — not just the plate.

I’ve tried a lot of things and nothing has worked. Why would this be different?

Most approaches start with solutions.

This one starts with questions.

Instead of layering another plan on top of what hasn’t worked, we slow things down and look at what your body has been trying to communicate all along.

That shift alone often changes everything.

Do I need to be in a crisis to work with you?

Not at all.

Some people come because something feels off. Others come because they’re ready to feel better, even if they can’t quite explain why they don’t.

You don’t need a diagnosis. You just need curiosity.

Who do you typically work with?

I work primarily with women 45+ who are navigating change — in their health, their energy, or their stage of life.

Often they’ve spent years taking care of others and are now ready to understand what their own body needs.

Where do I start if I’m not sure which service is right for me?

What’s the difference between the Wellness Blueprint Intensive and the longer programs?

The Intensive is a focused deep-dive — one session to explore your health and get clarity.

The longer programs allow us to go further. They give us time to test, adjust, and work through patterns more thoroughly.

Can I do the intensive before committing to a longer program?

Yes — and many people do.

It’s a good way to experience how I work and to get a clearer sense of what your body needs before deciding on next steps.

CREDENTIALS & APPROACH

What are your qualifications?

I’m a diploma graduate of the Professional Integrative Nutrition Program through Rhodes Wellness College, and a certified Life Coach and Metabolic Balance Practitioner.

I’m also a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutrition Practitioners (CANNP), the Health Coach Alliance (HCA), and the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).

My training is rooted in holistic nutrition and integrative health — looking at the body as a connected system rather than a collection of separate symptoms.

I continue to stay current through ongoing education, workshops, and professional communities, and I’m accountable to the standards of the organizations I belong to.

More importantly, my work is grounded in listening — to you, and to the patterns your body has been showing over time.

Are you a doctor? Can you diagnose or prescribe?

No.

I don’t diagnose or prescribe. My role is to support you in understanding your health patterns and making informed, practical changes.

If it turns out you need a different kind of support, I have a network of trusted professionals I can refer you to.

You’re never left trying to figure it out on your own.

Do you follow a specific diet or philosophy?

No single diet works for everyone.

Instead of applying a fixed approach, we look at what works for you — your body, your lifestyle, and your preferences.

That often includes looking at your timeline, because the patterns behind your health didn’t start yesterday.

From there, we make practical changes that fit your life.

What do I need to do before my first session?

Nothing complicated.

Once you book your Discovery Session, you’ll receive a short intake form through the booking link. It’s simply there to give me a bit of context about what’s been going on for you before we meet.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or explained perfectly. Just share what feels relevant — we’ll explore the rest together during the session.
